One amazing Amazon adventure!

It was great to be able to fit in another multi-schools event before the end of Term 2.   On board for this ‘amazing Amazon adventure’ were more than 300 teachers and Key Stage 2 pupils from three schools in different areas of the UK, namely St. George’s Primary and Nursery School in Great Yarmouth (https://stgeorgesprimary.norfolk.sch.uk/), Merryhills Primary School in Enfield, North London (https://merryhills.net/) and White Meadows Primary Academy in Littlehampton, West Sussex (https://whitemeadows.w-sussex.sch.uk/).  I accessed Digimap for Schools (https://digimapforschools.edina.ac.uk/) and projected a map of the UK on the big screen to locate us all too; you cannot let an opportunity to enhance locational knowledge go by!…Continue readingOne amazing Amazon adventure!

Off to Tate Modern and COP26!

Well, what a busy two weeks it has been!  Towards the end of October, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to collaborate with The Great Imagining (https://www.thegreatimagining.org/) for an initiative at Tate Modern linked to climate change and our future world (https://www.tate.org.uk/).
